The purpose of this document is to provide answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) related to the Tampa (FL) Alumni Chapter (TAC) sponsored events for the 86th Grand Chapter Meeting (GCM) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc that will be held in Tampa, FL and hosted by TAC from July 15 – July 23, 2023.
General
All Tampa (FL) Alumni Chapter (TAC) sponsored events are the sole responsibility of TAC. The International Headquarters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc (IHQ) should not be contacted. Please direct all event related inquiries to tampanupes1928@gmail.com.
Ticket sales will only be available via the MYLE (Make Your Life Entertaining) app with the event specific exceptions noted under the respective events. Please direct all inquiries regarding purchased tickets to kappakonclave@myle.com.
Family Outing
Ticket Sales
This is a Rain or Shine event – all ticket sales are final. Registered Brothers will purchase tickets for their Guest(s) and Children via the registration portal during the registration period. After registration ends on May 31, 2023, all Family Outing tickets will only be available via the MYLE app. Please direct all ticket related inquiries to kappakonclave@myle.com..
Inclement Weather
This is a Rain or Shine event. As this event takes place on the West Coast of Florida in July, patrons are advised to anticipate rain and bring ponchos – no umbrellas. The University of Tampa (UT), which is within proximity to Riverfront Park, has a lightning alarm. If it is sounded, patrons will need to leave the Park and will be advised by the Family Outing volunteer staff of where to go – evacuation sites – for safety purposes.
Alcohol
The Family Outing will be an alcohol-free event.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided for all Registered Brothers and their guests/children from the Host hotels only. For this event, there will be both buses and water taxis running during specified time periods.
Security / EMS
TAC has contracted with the Tampa Police Department for event security and with the City of Tampa Fire Department and EMS for emergency medical services.

Social Events

All Access Packages – both Three-Night and Two-Night – will only be available through April 30, 2023, or while supplies last.

- Registered Brothers and a guest who attend the Grand Polemarch’s Closed Ball will receive complimentary entry into The Kulmination.
- All Access Party Packages that include The Kulmination will be discounted with a discount code that will be provided to Registered Brothers. All Registered Brothers who purchased a Two Night Friday/Saturday or Three-Night package prior to the discount code distribution will receive a refund for the discounted amount.

Transportation

TAC has contracted with the respective venues and/or private security companies for event security. The Fire Department and/or EMS will be contacted for emergency medical services.
Parking
Parking for the Krimson Takeover Party at Armature Works will be free to all ticketed guests. You will need to park in the designated lot(s). Valet parking will also be available.
Parking for the Kreme Kulture Jam at the Florida Aquarium will be…
Parking for The Kulmination Closed Ball at the JW Marriott Water Street is all paid parking. Valet parking will also be available.
